About Community of Caring:
Mary Munford PTA’s Community of Caring (COC) is dedicated to supporting Mary Munford students and their families, as well as the Richmond Public Schools (RPS) community. COC also supports connections between local human service organization needs and the resources that Munford has to offer.
Mary Munford has a long-standing partnership with the RPS "Center for Families in Transition," which works with students and their families across all RPS who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Through this connection, the COC is in charge of coordinating sponsorships and ongoing food, clothing, and donation drives throughout the year.
Our COC maintains communication with the school guidance counselor and other staff to identify needs of Munford families that can be met by the COC or broader Munford community.

Spirit Nights
Spirit Nights are when you go do fun things or have good dinners, and Munford gets a kickback! We'll announce the nights throughout the year, but past events have included Papa Johns, Chipotle, Mellow Mushroom, Triangle Rock Club, Richmond Kickers games, and some of our favorite local places to shop and play.

Munford Night at the Kickers!
Saturday, Sept 30. 6 PM
Tickets are $16/each, and we'll get $5/ticket back to Munford as a PTA fundraiser.

The game is at 6 PM, but we will start meeting there around 5 PM to beat the food truck lines and establish a Munford Section where we can sit together. More details to come on where that section will be!
